The Ray's, Marlins, and Diamondbacks disagree with that statement

This is the type of move that cheap/losing teams do. Canario has SO much potential, but has literally never been given a fair shot in the big leagues. Meanwhile Vidal Brujan (career .189 hitter) keeps his 40 man spot.
Season hasn't even started yet and I'm already frustrated with this ball club.

Somewhere in the upper great plains.Des Moines, Omaha, Sioux Falls, Lincoln..any of those cities would love to support a pro sports team.
Just look at the success and support of women's college basketball in this area. Iowa, Creighton, S. Dakota St, Nebraska have all had great support recently.

Signing Bregman is definitely the move. Shaw will get his time to shine, but there's always the chance he struggles this season, especially early on.
We can also use Shaw as a backup at 2nd for Hoerner. If the Cubs do decide to trade Hoerner this season, I do like Shaw taking over 2nd base.

18 game regular season is fine. But that has to be the absolute maximum for a while. No more expanding the season.
Each team has 2 pre-season games, 2 byes, and have the Super Bowl over Presidents Day weekend.
That's the perfect setup. Change it for the 2026 season then leave it alone.

That Mavs lineup would've ran the league like 6 years ago. Now it's a first round exit.

Since Lukas rookie season in 2018-19 he has played in 442 games. In that same time AD has played in 368 games.
Also, Luka has averaged more PPG each season than AD except for his rookie season.
Since 2018:
Luka - 1 ROY, 5x All star, 5x NBA 1st Team
AD-4x All Star, 1 NBA 1st Team, 1 NBA 2nd Team

LeBron needed a super team to beat OKC in 2012 and that's exactly what he's doing again.
Time is a circle.

What is Dallas doing?!Fresh off a Finals appearance, right in the middle of the Western conference playoffs race, and they trade away their best player for an injury plagued 31 yr old? I understand AD is a top 10 player in the league. But this is the type of trade that sets your team back for years.
