Among my regular passengers on the 44 are two young boys who ride with their grandma from California and 6th Ave all the way to Silver and Palou. The older brother is possibly a 2nd grader. Last night as they were getting off my bus, he handed me this hand made envelope.

Kudos to both of you.

You lifted my spirits!! 💖
(And I really needed that.)
It’s always been my favorite Muni line.
It takes skill to drive that crosstown route.
Thank you for being so good to your passengers while doing a challenging job. Those children will never forget you.
You have inspired a young mind with nothing more than simple acts of kindness..... bask in it my friend, richly deserved.
As we say round these parts, absolutely mint.
🥰
Thank you for your inspiration!
I've known drivers who'd regularly see me get off another bus and rush towards theirs, only to pull away and give me the stink eye while doing it
I hope you continue to inspire with simple acts of kindness
I grew up taking AC transit. My sisters & I had to walk down hill for half a mile to catch the bus every morning to go to school. Some days we ran late, but the driver ALWAYS waited for us. I’ve never forgotten how nice he was.
I bet 30 years from now those kids will remember you too.
Keep being genuinely you.
I’m going to put it in practice!
