I'm an elementary school PE teacher.

Having kids in daycare and what not it baffles me some of the names I hear. My kids are Luke, Evan, Phoebe, somewhat uncommon the last two but they’re not like Wylder, Legend, Hilder, Lyric, and Journey. And yes those are all real kids

I have an ethnic name with ambiguous pronunciation, so I made sure to pick traditional, semi-popular names for my boys. Didn't want them to deal with the micro-aggressions I deal with. I feel like there's currently a resurgence of old lady names. There's a baby Beatrice being born somewhere rn!
