I can't take credit for this one because "Girl Genius: The Works" actually uses it, but I think there should be more TCGs where keywording is based on whether the word in question appears anywhere on the card, even in the rules or flavour text. I'd love to see a "serious" TGC run with that idea. - ThreadSky

Yu-Gi-Oh is like 75% of the way there! First example that comes to mind are the "tellarknight" cards, so named because their effects have to target Satellarknights and Stellarknights, plus a Darktellarknight and a Hexatellarknight.

The funniest one is actually Vehicroids, which have to get keyworded as "roid" because they're named stuff like Ambulanceroid and Shuttleroid.

...and then they accidentally also support the entire Speedroid archetype. And also Dark Jeroid and Elemental HERO Necroid Shaman.
