If $9 is forcing (as “driving” implies, ironic beep beep) on to #masstransport (and perhaps also #activetravel ) then it is doing its job, and hopefully the money will be ploughed into improvements, ta dah ! I look forward to seeing this in action #climatecrisis

It's been blatantly obvious for a long time that the T'graph is publishing pro fossil fuel pieces. Does anyone know how the publication gets compensated for this service? Does its owner benefit directly, or is the benefit through increased advertising?, Interested to know.

I've ridden the NY subway many times and there's nothing scary about it. I does need more funding and extending however. Maybe some cross town trams/streetcars would be great too. Plus it uses a tap and go payment system for fares similar to TfL and the South East Wales rail network.

We desperately need a #CongestionCharge in Manchester (where traffic is growing year on year) but we don’t have the political will to do this.
