Seeing AstroBots “celebration” of their titles really showed me how shallow their library has gotten. They really need to build more IP.
Now they'll remaster their games and their console. I can imagine it makes more money... but it's a shame.
I also was more specifically referring to their IPs and games.
I marvel at some of the minigames graphics, but at the end of the day if something is fun, I'm fine playing even with lo-fi models.
'Dress to impress' shows that mainstream audiences are fine with a standard quality, so who is being served by this "arms race"?
Think I'll save for a PS6 in 3 to 4 years.
