Watching the "Surviving R. Kelly" docuseries. Didn't have the stomach for it five years ago but seeing a bad person get consequences scratches an itch right now

Precisely why I re-watched “All The President’s Men” recently… I needed to be reminded that there was a time, not so long ago, when presidents and their minions were actually held accountable for their behavior and removed from office when they broke the law…
Not to mention that Nixon and Kissinger were never convicted of war crimes during the Vietnam War, or for their role in overthrowing Allende in Chile. In fact, Kissinger got a goddamn Nobel peace prize out of it. In a just world, he would have spent the rest of his life imprisoned as a war criminal.
I did in fact read "IF I did it" it, from what i've heard that book was largely ghost-written by someone else(Pablo something or other, forgot his last name)and not by OJ himself. I'd urge you to read "Double-Crossed for Blood" by Henry S Johnson and "The Pursuit of Exhibit 35" by T.K. Johnson.
Consequences for messing with kids should at minimum involve body parts being removed by very hot and very dull blade. He got 31 years in a medium security vacation spot and is working on getting 20 of them dropped.
Cannot recommend listening to the deposition episodes of @knowledgefight.bsky.social enough. They are titled formulaic objections and you get to listen to various info wars employees explain in a court of law all the bullshit they spew.
I wish there didn’t seem like there was a racial component wherever a super famous, wealthy celebrity finally faces justice. (Cosby, Kelly, Diddy, Simpson, etc)
Then again, once the sensationalism dies down they pop up again to promote shit on social media.
If you believe in GOD you'd have the peace of mind knowing that NO ONE gets away with anything unjust in HIS EYES. Something I remind myself of daily... Gives me strength when facing evil , lies, or injustice.
I believe this is part of the reason so many women consume true crime content.
They want to listen to and believe victims stories. They want to see justice served. See retribution for things they, or someone they know, has also been through.
It's also a strong reminder of the risk of dating cops.
I don't think race preferences matter if people are sexual predators. I mean, if only you could get Diddys guest list, much like Epsteins, you'll see plenty of all races partook in that horrible stuff.
Obamas aren't in jail either. Or Colin Powell who lied us into the Iraq war and killed millions. As long as you're in the warhawk club, the system protects you

Ford pardoned Nixon for his crimes.

Like we need musical Christopher Plummers
Those episodes follow the lawsuit that is ending in The Onion buying Infowars and features a lot of making fun of the idiots at Infowars.
