You're going to be disappointed when she inevitably votes against a left-wing cause.
Also legal processes existing has hardly been enough for Dems to actually feel safe and comfortable enough to upset the decorum by actually holding people accountable.
And Republicans have been opening doors to all sorts of things for over a decade and Democrats haven't done anything with them.
But also, she’s deeply Catholic, the Pope just directly rebuked JD Vance, and she was close enough to SMELL Donald Trump at the SOTU.
So… yeah.
I wouldn’t have put Liz Cheney anywhere on my bingo card for protecting democracy, either. But here we are.
It’s not a reason to anticipate or trust ANYTHING, but still.
