The meme that the polls are worthless and usually wrong has done real damage. The polls and political data journalism have their flaws, but if they go, you're not going to like what comes next.

There will always be billionaire money available for fake flood the data pool polls that don't release methodology or data.
One of the key tenets of polling is getting an accurate sample of the population giving truthful answers. If this isn’t happening then the poll isn’t worth shit
