Iβve been in high anxiety mode 24/7 since there was a chance that the orange clown would be back. So now Iβm just trying to get by one day at a time.π°
Good for you! That is no easy task. I find deep breathing and body movement helpful. Also disconnecting and finding laughter also helps. A friend of mine taught me those. Hope this helps someone else out there.
Waking up to my "now routine" panic attack between 2-4am each day! Living in TX is a hellscape, but who can afford to move, or find employment elsewhere?? It's a struggle to manage each day but I'm going to find my people here and RESIST like a motherfucker! π€¬π€¬π€¬
As someone who has Obsessive anxiety( on meds) I have learned my triggers and how to deal with them. Most of the time I am able to just leave the situation But other times I just keep repeating to myself. STOP you are obsessing..over and over
Remember to take a break as soon as possible. Listen to music or something else to calm yourself, like the Bill Evans Trio. Stim if you can, magnets seem best. Breathe
