What about gender? Or are there any consideration given to gender - or is it "best of the best" from the pool of applicants?

That's the clear goal of the GOP when it comes to social and economic issues, but for them to do so in the military complex makes the US a sitting duck for every enemy of this country
They want a homogeneous force with their white supremacist views. With this there will be less opposition when they deploy against citizens.

Students for Fair Admissions, after successfully challenging race-conscious admissions policies in public and private schools, wanted to end them at the military academies. They lost at trial in their Naval Academy case and appealed.
