Pro "Peace and a Palestinian state with full UN rights" is Pro-Palestinian.
Pro "Armed resistance until victory; from water to water, Palestine is Arab" is Pro-Hamas.
Of course it would be even worse if people say the reason they want to do this to people of Israeli national origin is they hate the majority ethnicity there.
But why would Westerners support that? It's tragic.

That the driving forces behind pushing Islamophobia include a) the US Government, b) media outlets, war profiteers, d) institutions aligned w/Israel?
The second sentence... is not how I think public discourse works.

Muslim and Jewish students are not in a competition over victimhood.
Knowing all this doesn't solve the problems.

But it can encourage some more respect for all of the actors involved, and can at least help one see and say the truth about any particular episode.
