In my region what we have is the denge mosquito and although I can say firsthand that your body gets so hot that you can die, I would not approve of sexy posters xD, it would be horrible for many people. I suffered a lot but I am alive, so it makes me laugh but not to many people for obvious reasons

i don't think of the soldier's illustration style as typical of Seuss, but he did a lot of different stuff. the only malaria in the finding aid for his papers at the Geisel Library is the Ann pamphlet, though.

nude swimming was more a matter of public health than personal preference, far more common for men and boys than women or girls, and always segregated by sex. but it did indeed persist as a common practice if not always the default even into the 1970s.
