Sigh.
1. There’s always been a place to do that. They’re called “libraries.”
2. Plenty of people still don’t have great access to internet or computers.
3. LLMs were not made to educate people, but rather to steal people’s work and livelihoods.
4. They’re wrong a LOT.

LLMs and AI will never replace historians. It can aid us, but never replicate us.
We use AI for the wrong things.
That sums up my impression concisely.
Greed and hate has overtaken
Affable or not, he's still a billionaire.
If you ask a question, you want the correct answer (at least, I do). Not know if the answer is correct or not makes it useless as a source.
"These brakes will stop the car. Most of the time".
That's not good enough.
However, in low-consequence situations such as drafting code, the speed that LLMs introduce is valuable.
Also, which person does not sometimes answer questions wrong?
Cuban is spitting out bullshit takes because he has an economic incentive that we all swallow his bullshit.
With billionaires, their statements are always driven by money.

Which of these two was not an answer? One is incorrect, but they are both answers.
If you go looking for knowledge and are given falsehoods in return, then you haven't learned anything.
My degree is in math so I am over-prepared to care about the semantics.
LLMs are still very useful for learning even though they give the occasional false answers, it usually leads to more discussion. Asking GPT for sources works well
Everyone will get better at using them with experience.
AI literacy is set to create a great advancement in both learning and productivity!

"Thanks to AI, I've taught myself Greek history, including when Plato invented the light bulb and how Alexander the Great conquered Japan!"
The process of learning means nothing. The product is everything.
A sad way to move through this world.
Commodification is all Cuban has ever known, because that's all he deigned to learn.
Of course there are libraries. But they've been a communist plot to better society and allow "free" access to knowledge for way too long.
