At this point, I think every institution just has to assume that they're not going to get federal funding or at least come up with a contingency plan in the event their federal funding is eliminated.

The feds money comes from where ? a large percentage is the states ? the 'blue states pay in more , and red states take more out.
The blues may start to play the delay payment game, they can afford too. Can red 'maga-land' go without money for long?
but the bigger question for me is what will happen when states ask themselves why they're sending their tax dollars to a federal government that no longer provides them benefits.
I hope that the ensuing lesson to The Wealthy lasts longer than 225 years.
