After using the extractor to remove a sheared bolt, how do you get the broken bit of bolt off the end of the tool? Asking for a friend.

• Remove the bit from the drill
• Apply a drop of WD-40 to the broken bolt (bit point down) allowing the WD-40 to penetrate the seal for a few minutes
• Wipe the bit clean and use two pliers to carefully twist the bolt off the bit. The bit should then be OK use again (if you don’t strip it) 🔧
