I think this sign would be bested by “no transphobes,” which would itself be bested by “no hate.”
It’s bizarre/ misogynist that terfs is a synonym for transphobes. That our most aggressive way to target transphobia is to focus on (transphobic) feminists.
... It's not misogynistic to point out that transphobia is largely being pushed by people who self-identify as TERFs, no. This is such a weird criticism to try to make.
Anyway, feminism has a very big problem with having been co-opted by cis white women who view it as their way of insulating themselves from criticism and accountability for bigotry, and TERFs are just one facet of that. We absolutely should be criticizing cis / white feminism in all its varieties.
In the UK, absolutely. In the US, it's being pushed by white supremacist Christian nationalists as well as TERFs. It's both-and. Hold complexity. (Nonetheless, I posted the sign and I hold by the sign.)
I'm an old woman (72). I couldn't care less about sharing public washrooms with trans women - it's totally fine.
But the BR battle has now resulted in all-gender public BRs and I really don't want to share public BRs with dudes. They never put the seat down and they don't wash their hands. Eww
I do believe that everyone should be able to go to the restroom and be comfortable. And if TERFS aka FARTS aren't comfortable being around trans people maybe they should just go home.

I'm scared of transphobes in and around the bathroom. I am not scared of trans people.
