There's some saying that is pertinent to what happens when a person willingly takes over an empire built on monetizing human memory and discarding the unprofitable to die, something about sowing and reaping I think a wind is involved
Hey, don't look at this foreigner. I'm wondering why my favourite star spangled lunatics haven't been clapping predatory wealthy people for a while now.
Slightly serious answer: have you seen how trigger happy cops are here?
Actual serious answer: murder is a very hard line to cross, and as bad as shit has been for a long time now, people are probably only now starting to get desperate enough to actually consider it as a means for change.
Extremely dangerous line to cross, agreed. As an outsider looking in, given how other public spaces (schools, nightclubs, etc) have been targets for a generation now, and political violence (J-6, attempt on Trump) seems to be a thing now, I'm surprised wealthy vampires took this long to be targeted.
I think a successful argument could be made that the death of the United Healthcare CEO was a justifiable homicide.
Americans have the right to defend their fellow citizens from an iminate threat to their lives and CEO Brian Thompson killed hundreds of thousands of people.
Well I am going to say what everyone else is afraid to:
The Men’s ‘24-‘25 Assassin Cruisewear Collection looks very versatile this year.
It has that whole “je tue quel que soit le directeur général” vibe. New colors blend in with Central Park, and comes with ultrathin Level IIIa plating. Slay!!😳
The magnitude of the belittling feeling of being denied a medication you need, and being told by someone who doesn't know you that you don't need it, is hard to put into words.
I have worked in the health insurance and I've even taken time out of my day to explain to people that there are actually a lot of well meaning people in the industry.
Even I can't really bring myself to defend this guy. Literally nobody is going to lose sleep over him.
My mom is a nurse who used to work for a hospital owned by UHC. When I broke the news to her the first thing she said was “I’m not surprised” followed up by “they pissed a lot of people off”
I haven't even been personally fucked by them, either. I've been on some iteration of a UHC plan for the last dozen or so years. But "UHC CEO" is a term that's just going to cause revulsion in literally anyone because we all know how bad they are.

Denial of insurance is always their preference.
The prices are ruined and unrealistic in the US.

And this isn't the only thing UHC has been doing in the UK either.
