"Serious."
They're either just grifters saying the most absurd, reprehensible bullshit to get clicks, or they're mentally challenged dullards whose families have abandoned them and their kookie fucking bullshit.
Spend time researching extremist spaces and you'll see that there are other possibilities. There are multigenerational families of conspiracy culture believers. These are sometimes sincere, intellectually normal people in poisoned information environments.
If he thinks the people inside the hollow earth are thousands of years ahead of us, why wouldn’t he move there and get away from us primitive surface dwellers?
Whether they are serious or not, the outcome is always the same so it doesn’t even matter. It’s like being ironically racist. You’re still just being racist.
I don't think it's a joke, I think it's a filtering technique. Say the most dog-shit stupid things, & anyone who keeps listening after that & thinks you made good points on water, the moon, etc, is an idiot ripe for the picking w crypto & other scams, etc.
My intellect dropped 10 points just watching that snippet.
When I was a teen (a long time ago) I read a book about the hollow Earth and even then wondered how the fuck it had passed through quality control to be published.
Does HE believe it? Like, did he write his book "revealing" these "facts" chuckling to himself as went, or does he honestly believe the stuff he's writing? And, if so, based on what?!
6. That five things go one two three four five because there's always an extra thing and that thing is FAITH we gotta have FAITH so that's the sixth thing so that's why five equals six.
Thank you for the suggestion, just subscribed to his YouTube feed! I love that kind of content, educational and slapping down the idiots, what could be better?
Ad revenue. Probably most of the clicks they get come from people who need to see with their own eyes what unbelievably stupid stuff other people watch.
It’s fascinating how ardently cults hold sway over potentially (optimistically?) intelligent minds. For someone to adopt this as their truth… it’s boggling.
I should not be arguing with myself in bed late at night about whether or not the Earth being hollow, is more or less stupid than it being a flat disk surrounded by ice.
The real question for me is which would be cooler, because they both sound pretty cool. But at least hollow earth people don’t have to tie logic into a knot to explain satellites
I was worried I was the only one getting these bizarre videos on IG all the sudden. I saw one from the same account where a woman said she "astral viewed" Earth from the moon, which she was invited to by an alien to attend the "Galactic Conference". Imagine going to the moon for a staff meeting.
They have always been among us (people who believe in aliens and visitation and astral planes, etc.,etc). My stepmom was all over Edward Cayce when I was growing up.
Are folks genuinely considering the "days of Atlantis" as if they really existed and as scientific fact? I am disappointed to see this, but it fits into our current national narrative—our zeitgeist.
It's true, the earth is hollow. Mount Everest is the pressure valve. If the snow ever melts we'll see "Inflate to 15psi" written in giant letters on the side.
Reminds me of someone I know who insists the south pole is actually tropical but They don’t want us to know bc Reasons
I dated someone in the US antarctic program who took a photo at the pole while holding a sign with my name, and I will always regret not showing him that pic
That's literally a Marvel comics lore thing btw. Sounds like they half remembered something from their childhood or a grifter used it as the basis to lead vulnerable people along. But it's literally Marvel.

I've heard all these words before, just never in this exact order....
"A fool and his money are soon parted."

Holy shit, what am I doing????

2. geocentrism
3. young earth
4. hollow earth
5. global flood
Can boggle be a verb? 😂
Is it a grift to sell books or are they just gone gone?
And honestly most flat earthers are wrapped up in some antisemitism anyway
I’ll admit I’m curious if his book points to any physical evidence or just goes with “It’s kind of obvious when you think about it.”
