Lesa familiar with that one. What's your boggest UI peeve?
I dislike the generic icons on both genshin and star rail, but I appreciate how they work cosmic lore into the symbolism everywhere. I like the feeling of being an adventuring archaeologist when I see a triquetra.
It's that shape because of the hedrons, no? Colorless being associated with (and needed for) Eldrazi, and them being associated with their hedron prisons, they just made them that generic diamond-ish shape because that was the four-sided thing during the expansion, but in the future it'd make sense.
Bonus if it shows up in gacha character preview art and you have to figure out whether it's indicating the rarity of the character or it's just decorative.
Ooo, how I agree really depends on what's the focus. If we're strictly talking about the devs.. most are innocent, but more often its gacha that preys more on the vulnerable.
I agree that AI as a whole is destroying the world more, but that has more to do with its environmental impacts.
Honestly I think it's kind of insulting to compare any gamedev to ai devs, even if gacha is predatory most game devs are creatives trying to make it to next week without being laid off, partially because of the ai devs in the other room making everyone worse off!!
It's really not. Any dev that chooses to stay in a company making gacha games, which prey on peoples' weaknesses and try to squeeze every last cent out of them and are in no way different than casinos, deserves every bad thing happening to them.

AI devs are looking for the next thing to exploit.
Gacha execs and almost only execs are the ones in the wrong.
Both need regulation, one needs now.
Just a gross comparison.
Only for one of the factions, though
