If a man can’t give a Nazi salute at a party for a racist convicted fraudster and proven sex offender, then what kind of sick world are we living in, I ask you.

Tbh, it came out so naturally, it makes me think he’s been hanging out in secret Yahtzee groups. Because there’s no amount of excitement or distraction that would make THAT pop out of me. That’s not a natural movement for most. It was seamless for him.
Are we so far removed from the horror of fascism, and the loss necessary to defeat it, that we simply don't recognize it any longer, rather we welcome it in, like a vampire come to feast.
Listening to a holocaust survivor yesterday on the radio. He said he wants to leave this world in the knowledge it’s a better place, but sadly he’s not sure it is.
It was on BBC Radio 4 yesterday morning. Worth a listen.
If a man who bought himself the largest megaphone the world has ever seen can’t give pronouncements about all kinds of things he knows nothing about, then what are we teaching our children?
When I saw a video of Musk's salute on here I thought someone had snatched an awkward moment so I Googled "Musk Salute". Across the top of the results are images from 10 news outlets around the world and only one, The New Republic, chooses another still but it still asks if he did a Nazi salute.
Is it definitely intended as a nazi salute? Maybe not. But the fact that it would not be surprising is the real underlying concern. Those arguing he might not have done a nazi salute are ignoring that.
And still, nearly every company in the fing world gives him money by being on X. Every sports club, nearly every charity.
It’s simple, buy or use any of this man’s products and you facilitate him.
I didn't think I could still be shocked but something about seeing that hateful gesture in the present day, on a stage celebrating the election of a world leader really got me.
I guess my point is: do we really think he consciously decided to do a Nazi salute? We can't know what he was thinking.
If it wasn't his intention, then by pretending it was we're just clutching our pearls in faux outrage. I think we need to be better than to just assume the worst, even with Musk.
Well, a Nazi salute is the right arm coming straight up from the side. That isn't what Musk did. He put his hand over his heart, then threw his arm out to the crowd.
So maybe you're right, it isn't an accidental thing, it's just not what Musk did.
The excellent ladies and gentlemen of the press are doing their best to right this outrageous wrong by gaslighting the world: it was heat of the moment/he had a spasm.
Someone tried shutting me up in the comments on a @legaleagle.bsky.social video this morning.
I may have replied.
And in doing so told this person what I thought of their idol.
And stand by every word.
They’re been remarkably quiet since my posting this, even removing the tag…

Where those doing the greatest harm to humanity are rewarded and elevated. Whilst, those who face injustice are othered and persecuted.
Humanity must be better than this.

Musk: "Hold my ketamine..."
Two. Two identical Nazi salutes.
Characters:
Saluter: Dominic Grayling
Salutee: Chris Raab
...Unless, of course...

But I don't think this was an intentional Nazi salute. And I think that pretending it was is just petty and desperate.

No. This isn't a thing.
Three times...
