Seeing an uptick in quote posts for shaming purposes here, and that’s a Twitter practice that we used to shun.
I’ll miss that BlueSky nicety when it gets killed forever.

You have to remember, for a lot of people on #BSky, perhaps more than any other social network, THIS is the only power & agency they have in their lives
They also seemed unable to think through why a sociologist and privacy expert might post something like that. Definitely an echo chamber effect going on, reminiscent of the ‘other place’. I imagine that phenomenon will now spread.
(Where I live you just hang out round the park, play dates happen but most mothers work, so optimally organising them is not such a massive life focus).
Is this a literal business card? That can't be true.
If multiple people do it then it becomes more effective. We have to fight for our community. Dm me a link if you see one and I'll back you. 👍
Just block and move on.
I argue with people for weeks till we come to an understanding then sit there talking about other stuff.
Then we say hi when we see each other on feed. It's very fulfilling. :) However not everyone is able to keep their peace of mind during the fighting part.
I'll ask questions to people I disagree with, but I won't argue.
For me, that drains me and far too many people are online for a fight, not a discussion.
Some people just don't want to be questioned even if it's a simple question like "who is this talking about?" or "what does this mean?"
When you find genuine people though it's SO GREAT cause you get to just discuss the topic!
People stay civil face to face.
:)
I'm against calling your followers in a rage against people you simply don't like.
Arguments are normal, witch hunts are not.
That’s the plan.
There is absolutely no reason to be a dick to someone who's just living life. If yall ever wonder why you're miserable, this is it, this is why.
