People sometimes put a lot of pressure on themselves to empty their minds and go oom.
Normally, it takes practice, but the benefits are huge.

Sleep stories at night are great ways to change gears and stop focusing on things that agitate your mind.

I also use "sleep talk downs" at night to help fall asleep. These are designed to stop your mind from racing. It's not an instant fix, it takes time to learn how to turn your brain off. (YouTube: Tranquil AF, Tansy Forrest, Jason Stephenson, Mindrest).
