is it “interesting” in the sense that it demonstrates how a hegemonic group believes that being prevented from violating the rights of others is the same thing as being persecuted? or is it “interesting” in some other, less true way?

So I find that vaguely interesting; less so the victim complex of the most powerful bloc in the country.
(Of course, that sentence's emphasis was always on the word "your"...)
Every other path is, by definition, evil.
They're saying they get to rule or all rules are evil. And they're pretty consistent on that point over the past few decades.
