Are these banned books classics like "The Catcher in the Rye" and "Catch 22"? Or are they the books that should be excluded from school libraries, y'know, like "My Dad's a Woman" or instruction manuals on how to have anal sex when you're 13?
At the rate at which you retrumplicans get busted for, daily I might add, for having child porn, molesting kids, sex trafficking kids and other disgusting things...I don't think the books kids can choose to read or not is of concern to you unless they're your kids.

It's so damn idiotic. As a parent, if you don't want your kids to read certain books (sad for kids), then let the school know. So tired of people thinking they can tell others what can and can not read. Among other things.
When the ashes of the books were returned, the ever-resourceful librarians used them for dioramas and as fertilizer for the lawn. A victory in court but too late I would think.
Every regime, every populist, every autocrat seeks first and foremost to capture the minds of the people. Without books, there is no independent thinking, a step towards replacing the classics of literature, with party pamphlets.
They need to return the books to the shelves while they appeal, correct? Or this is another attempt to defy a court order they don’t agree with. It is becoming an epidemic.
