Also throw in anatomical sex, endocrinological sex, and social sex. E.g. "Consider someone whose legal sex is male per the 2004 act, but who substanitally altered their anatomical sex from male to female amd also has a female social sex."

in the supreme court ruling they refer to the 1975 sex discrimination act (as far as I can tell because its the newest legislation that can be construed to be transphobic enough for them)

so they're referring to sex as described in the 1975 act
