if reincarnation is real, I wonder how many people stare at their own art in museums, listen to music they made in a different life, and read books they don't remember writing.

I think about this a lot, when I read something that just sings for me. Not that I wrote it in another life, but that I knew it and loved it another time too. If that makes sense.
roughly 100 billion people are estimated to have lived and died in the history of our species, so maybe 8% of all existing souls are currently extant in physical reality,
presuming each birth represents the creation of a new human soul.
any amount of reincarnation middles that to all hell , because that would include animals and plants? maybe fungi too? so would there be a conversation of ?spirit energy?
several smaller creatures worth of spirit being reborn as a single larger?
sounds like a godafwul mess and much more fun
The pain of not living to see the success of your work in your first lifetime, only to be reborn and staring at your million dollar painting and not knowing how rich you could've been.
Wow this is something I've thought of too it's so crazy to think that but so interesting if it's something that can be real. Or there is someone somewhere living a similar life like ours.
Some days I think about that too, if it is real, would be interesting. I wonder if in my next life, I'll somehow stumble across this life's books and wonder about the author (I dunno how they will find it, maybe in a thrift shop lol), maybe they will read it, review it and more sales after I am gone
I've always thought it amusing that so many people remember their past lives as queens or princes or whatnot, while statistically almost everyone would have been a farm worker. Or if reincarnation crosses species, a bacterium.
Well I can't speak for everyone, but I guess most software developers have encountered already in this lifetime the scenario of "what idiot wrote this messed up code, I will check from version control... ...oh"
I stare at the worst early-era boomer minion memes and have the dull implacable sensation caused by having made it as prior incarnation Rhonda from Dayton, OH
No I think about this all the time like if I get reincarnated will I read the books I’m writing now? Will I feel a special connection with them? Have I ever read a book by a past me?
Or glance at a field, where they did backbreaking Work living till they were 22 for an overlord.
I do apologize. I can’t imagine why my mind went there.
