Ok, ok, hear me out. What if we took a bright and colorful popular animated kids movie but remade it live-action where we still have to animate the fantastical elements, but we desaturate the color so it's less vibrant and feels lifeless by comparison? I think that would be easy money!

I think it’s inherently insulting to adapt something animated into live action because the implication is that live action is the higher art form. Otherwise there’s no reason to do it. Whereas with novels and games it’s translating a story to a new media which can be done artistically
