Here's your daily reminder that bookstores keep the love of reading alive — but they also keep neighborhoods beautiful. They are places to gather, to celebrate stories, to find community.
Please do your holiday shopping at your local independent bookstore, if you are lucky enough to still have one.

Bestest spicy dream I’ve ever had.
My favourite is a gem from last summers roadtrip and its a whole town. It has bookshops, cafes and quaint bnbs. When we drove in there we legit wondered if it was some weird gillmore girls cult city 😂

I like books that have neat facts about scenic places and used to keep them on my coffee table before I moved somewhere smaller!

I'm over here in West Seattle with Pegasus Books and Paper Boat Booksellers, both great neighborhood spots.
Where is yours?
Also, hi neighbor!
Buying gift cards for local independent bookstores is another way to🖕Bezos

Local bookstores are always a stop when I vacation in the West though
it's the best!
They’re a nice escapism
Reading is a gift that matters more than gold, jewelry or toys.
It shares the space with an independent coffee shop, which goes by the name “The Roast Office”.
It is a delightful place to spend time and money.
If you aren’t reading books, your future masters surely are.
I love a good bookstore with a coffee shop.
Please consider a donation to your local public library. Their funding may have recently been cut, or may be facing cuts in the near future.
Public libraries offer services to everyone, regardless of social status or income, and fight for our right to information.

Such a great, much loved bookstore, their customers ordered on line and donated to help keep them going during lockdown.
Locally owned and operated, and my home since 2000. 🤘
