Canadian here, and I always knew it as European time. As in, at home I was born at 11:11 at night but it wouldn’t be that cool in Europe bc it would have been 23:11.
My dad’s from Philly and was in the army (served in Korea), but somehow I don’t recall ever hearing military time at home.

Needing to specify night time or day time is a waste of valuable seconds.

I think it makes sense, but I've worked there for 11 years, and I still have to do the math in my head most days.
Also, seriously, I seldom actually use it, but my brain does the conversion pretty seamlessly.
I'm definitely not suing someone with no money.
