That could flip like a switch. The dog is also very much not sure
I'm often weary for content channels trying to feed these nonsense narratives because they are preparing the sheeple brains for accepting alternative realities without noticing
Not unlikely, if you knew ANYTHING about animal behaviour and conservation. That Tiger was raised with the dog as an emotional support and (during infancy) to feel secure when out in the open.
I don't knee-jerk reply to animal video posts with "THAT ANIMAL IS UPSET AND SCARED, ACKSHUALLY" like you're wiser than the rest of us, generously educating the public and somehow shaming the original poster
Just goes to prove animals are much better than humans. You donβt find any racist animals. !! the most immoral fucking people are people like Trump Elon Musk, Mel Gibson rock head, Kid Rock and many more jackass fucking racist fuckers they should all just drop dead and make America great again!!!
Yeahhhhh no, this ain't it.
1. The chain around the tiger's neck
2. The dog was trying to get out from under the tiger, but it's too heavy
3. Why does the dog have a collar on? Even when dogs play, you're supposed to take the collars off. They can get caught too easily.
Not gonna lie this made me very nervous, that tiger is far more wild than a dog is, even if raised in a sanctuary, if it my dog I wouldn't do that because I actually care about it's mortal well being.
Thatβs one seriously uncomfortable Rottie. π
Whale eye shows fear.
Yawning repeatedly when the tiger licks - thatβs a calming or appeasing behavior, as in βplease stop doing that β¦ pleaseβ.
Rottie is NOT a friend, simply a critter who wants to get away.
Not to mention there's a point where the dog is trying to scoot out from underneath.
Plus, tiger has a chain and the dog has a collar on. Seems like a disaster.
Those arenβt whale eyes, though. Itβs just the paw pulling back the eyelids. The paw the dog is actively nudging with its head. As soon as the paw pulls away, the dogβs eyes are completely normal. Whale eyes would stay whale.
While rotties are typically tough and may be a good fit for like, a mountain lion or snow leopard, tigers are just too big and heavy. That roughhousing is clearly hurting the dog and the tiger needs another big cat to use as a playmate.
Okay no actually, you got cats maybe i can explain it to you.
Imagine you have a cat and you have a guinea pig. They're both the bestest of fwiends. The cat grooms the guinea pig while sitting on it and they even walk around the house together.
I have had 39 Cats in my life of all sizes and colors. They are always true to themselves: Tiny Tigers. They are the true Apex Predator because even the smallest can be deadly. I love them. They boss the Dogs and the Horses too!!! BTW I rescue Horses, Dogs, Cats and Wolves from the Dog Pound.
Thatβs all good and suchβ¦ but given the footage Iβve seen, I still do not think the dog is scared. Not sure if you were pushing back on that, so I apologize if you werenβt. Thatβs fantastic that youβve had that many cats! Iβm on my first two, and I know they are definitely tiny little tigers.
The Dog is trying to right himself and get up but the Cat keeps grooming him. They are both young and they are fine. I study the way all animals hold themselves, body language says it all. Abused animals I see a lot yet they are always trusting. We betray them and that infuriates me.
You werenβt wrong to worry, and there could absolutely still be more that I donβt know. Iβm just trying to ease peopleβs tension around animal harm here.
this has been done many times earlier, 90% of these videos have been statistically fax checked and have been a playful way of the tiger to entertain its self b4 killing the dog, you are watching a lion tenderize the meat b4 consumption.
Probably about the same as the kitten that plays with a full grown dog.
Animals know how to be gentle with creatures smaller than them. They know where to draw the line between play and rough. Otherwise, babies wouldn't grow up.
Do you think that the instinct to have safe limits on rough play with a smaller creature (offspring) is a product of domestication? Darwin would disagree.
Felines and canines play rough with offspring, and siblings. It's practice. And they learn young to be gentle with small non-prey.
Did you know wild big predators like bears and tigers have killed and eaten their human owners who raise them from babies? Because they are wild animals not domestic?
Did you know that domesticated dogs and cats sometimes eat their owners, too? (If you die and leave your cat no food, that beast is not starving while she waits.)
You're reaching for something that has nothing to do with the post. This tiger treats that dog like a youngster, not prey.
Youβre right, it could. But it most likely wonβt given their relationship. I could also get in a collision every time I get behind a wheel, but I also most likely wonβt.
just a reminder to always be skeptical of animal content posting accounts sharing videos like this, and of all videos showing dangerous wild animals interacting with domestic pets
Nature is more amazing when animals aren't forced into unsafe, unnatural situations for our amusement!
Lolololololol saying I βdonβt know muchβ when all Iβve done is provided video evidence of these animalsβ friendship is a crazy flex, but ok. I donβt know what you think Iβm claiming to know here, other than that these two animals are friendly.
No reputable sanctuary would let such a powerful predator with still very wild instincts freely interact with pets or people, all it takes is one slip up and it goes south real fast. The dog gets mauled, and the tiger gets put down for it. Why risk that? It's purely for aww factor, there's no
Back in the day, some 40 years back or so a lady had two cub tigers in her fenced yard. Iβd walk a friendβs kids to school by there so theyβd see them till the law came and took the cubs away.
Before I read the title I thought I was about to see a dog killed, but I calmed down when I saw the title, I still was worried while witching the video because it kept looking like it was about to take a bite out of the dog.
{read in the voice of David Atwater} ββ¦ and we can see through interactions such as this one how the phenomenon of kink evolved. A phenomenon which previously was assumed to be uniquely human. One more datum in the overwhelming consensus that evolution is how animals came to exist.β
Guysss, this is a zoo tiger. Zoo tigers are literally introduced to an emotional support dog when they are still very young cubs.
That tiger literally grew up with that dog, they have an extremely strong bond with each other. Tiger = big cat, this is just how cats play when they are comfortable.
LOL I never knew animals have support dogs too! And you can tell by the tiger's behavior it isn't in malice. My domesticated cat does the same thing. a nibble, and then a lick. Now obvi this cat has much bigger teeth, but..
Certainly there are tigers that grew up with a human from birth, and would not purposely harm it. Iβm not saying thereβs a not risk. Thereβs always a risk and of course you should approach any tiger with caution. I was just showing that these two are friendly given their specific situation.
Can you find another way of showing people that you find the very concept of morality trivial and don't care if either of these animals are being harmed?
Big Cats get depressed, as do other animals like Gorillas, despite being a mostly solitary animal Tigers get a lot of benefit from having a Mother/Sister figure dog companion and don't worry about the dog they can handle a lot they're big dogs

The wrong hit by the paw or sitting on the dog wrong is life-threatening.
Who owns them? Why? There's no story or background here.
Also, a lot of behaviours in that video you linked are concerning.

Frankly, that tiger doesn't have morals. If it's hungry and the dog is handy, it's gonna eat that dog. No hesitation.

Dogs together strong.
This way he's just gonna get eaten eventually, the tiger has 0 respect of the dog and it's clear the dog is scared.
