100% committed to Bluesky now. X account binned once I realised that old Twitter was long dead. Threads is an awful mess, given up on that already. The bhafc conversation here is great as far as I'm concerned.

It seems that it’s really journalists who have come here the most. Fan accounts are much more on Twitter.

Bluesky needs to allow for longer videos so highlights can be shared and I also think there will be another round of movement once Trump gets inaugurated because Elon will fuck with Twitter

In time, if they watch their analytics, content creators will realise there is no point in posting over there.
No point in having lots of followers on twitter if the algorithm doesn't show your stuff to anybody any more.
And retweets over there are completely worthless now.

People are less angry on here. The head-loss after the second 2-0 lead collapse was mild here compared to the Twitter reaction to someone misplacing a pass in first half. Will take a while to catch up, but less stress, less bots, and no Musk, so what’s not to like. Twitter is eX for me now.

Yes people are still active, but like the best things in life there's no expecting things to be fed on a plate, you have to contribute. Nothing gets pushed to you unless you put the work in yourself. It's what you make of it. Miles better.

Does feel like it’s lost a bit of momentum, I hope it’s not going to fizzle out. I do wonder if it’ll end up more as a place to get your official news from, more a place for journalists etc to share important information without the worry of algorithms squashing it.

the main part of bluesky that is bustling with activity for me is my more nerdy art interests like comic books and video games, sports however still doesnt have much of a footing on here yet
