The news about LRG selling defective cartridges that will blow up your NES, followed by the discovery that Retro-Bit is just stealing fan translations for some of their games, y'all I'm beginning to think maybe this retro game collector enthusiast aftermarket is one big grift.

And then there are the kind of collectors themselves who buy things not to play.
Together they are ruining the space for enthusiasts and people who actually want to play games.
FOR 100 FUCKING DOLLARS
But also, to be fair, Capcom let them have the license for that.
if I can have more confidence that a bootleg won't burn down my house over an official fucking product then you have failed
Also hyperkin stole emulators for the retron 5.
god bless emulation, companies don't deserve money for a 10+ year old game
(I will absolutely be *finding* those Sega CD Telenet releases LRG is doing later on though *wink*)
The only company that confuses me more than LRG is Edia lol)
Also nothing would give me an endorphin storm and side boner more than buying a copy of Metroid Zero Mission so I can open that box, slam it into my GBA and play the thing right in front of them.
I love physical, I appreciate collectors editions. But I DO play my games and thus appreciate it if there is care in the reproduction of said game and they are actually playable. That's why I stopped buying from LRG.
