One summer in school we’d all get up and play euchre in the lobby til breakfast. Then we’d play euchre til time for class. Then we’d play euchre til lunch, and after lunch til class again. After class we’d play euchre til dinner, then after dinner til bedtime.
Will you teach @prodigalhoosier.medsky.social too? It baffles me when I find midwesterners who don't know euchre. Or cribbage, which she refers to as the old people pegging thing.
I'm sorry, but the regulations clearly state that 1 of the 2 is required but both are preferred. Now there are alternate paths to retaining your Midwesterner Card; for example you could volunteer to help east coasters with their speech impediment, or teach outsiders how to pronounce Ypsilanti.
I did live in Ohio for a bit and they told me I talked funny….not sure what to make of that….
What about wearing Birkenstock sandals in January like I did yesterday (40s) That HAS to count for something?!? And I had all my windows and doors open at 40 degrees..that’s something too right??

I just said that because my Ohio relatives played it
High school parties for me.
We did know people that played cribbage in California but not euchre
"Oh, so you're one of those city folk, aren't'cha?"
Good luck...! Horrible game, lol.
Turn down a bower, lose for an hour!
Take that as you will.
My grandfather taught me cribbage when I was 6.
