I like the mariposa a lot for the most part! It needed quite a bit of setup work when I got it, but I think that’s kinda par for the course with the cheap imports. But if you don’t mind some tuneups the sterlings are pretty good!
I have one of the mid-grade Yamaha Revstars, made in Indonesia, and it's fantastic. It's basically a perfected Gibson SG. I hear the lower grade ones are great, too ($500.) Anyways, rock on! 🤘
