I've been seeing lots of super compelling videos of park rangers and federal lawyers and other federal workers telling their stories. Talking about what they did at their job, how it helped the American people, and why they want to keep doing those jobs.
This is the way.
This is the way.

If they come back, they should expect no less … that’s the corporate way.
I’d say their collective expertise is
worth a 15 to 20% premium per
standard rehire practicum in
private sector.
After all, we’re running the
US government like a business
now - right?
We can no longer hope talking to these people will work, they are planning on jailing us we have to move now.
(I saw this on insta, but it looks like it comes from a tiktok account chaotic_harmony_irl, but I don't know if that's where it started.)
I wasn't wrong, but then I decided librarians were the best people in the world.
I still wasn't wrong, but now I've decided park rangers are the best people in the world.
It's probably all three. But right now, park rangers!
Make it personal. These are real people. Not "workers." Not the "deep state." Not the "federal government." Real, awesome people who want to do good in the world and help people like you.
But listening to their stories just increases my animosity towards the those who voted for Trump; so purposefully uninformed, moved by big lies and hatred of the other, bent on destruction and suffering from amnesia … I just can’t!
