What these folks are actually saying is that any middle class folks or new residents should have to live in crowded slums in the valleys with huge highways and all of the infrastructure that the rich hilltop folks don’t want to live around.

I work at a hospital where we added a helipad in case, you know, children are dying, and I often wondered why some very sick unstable kids had to land elsewhere and be transported via ground. Apparently we get fined every time it is used when, you know, children are dying.

Probably something along those lines. The helipad was part of a recent-ish remodel but it’s not we’re asking to use it for a kid with an ear infection. We’re the regional children’s center. For us to have to pay fines and justify with a neighborhood e-mail explaining each use? Blows my mind.

Queen Anne has had an urban village since the 1990s, which is being renamed to an urban center and expanded.
