Just saw my first cybertruck in the wild. It's even uglier IRL. Lots of people standing around it taking pictures; not sure if they're mocking it or not. #SheetMetalHemorrhoid

That seems to be everyone's reaction when seeing one for the first time. I thought the finish looked really bad, like cardboard that was spray painted silver.
I realized recently that Cybertrucks remind me of an exercise we did in a Product Design class, where we had to take a mediocre design and explore ways to make it much, much worse, as a way to then discover how to make it better.
Tesla forgot that last bit, but they nailed part 1.
I saw one in Nebraska in the wild and it is the stupidest fucking vehicle I've ever seen in the wild, and I've seen some stupid shit out there. It just looks WRONG. Like a low-res 3d model of a car in real life.
Oh, they’re definitely mocking it. Saw one and it looks like it was put together in shop class. And the sheer amount of visible fingerprints on it made me feel very anxious.
I've had a fair number of sightings, in part due to living a mile and a half from a dealership... and they never don't look like someone took a cheap toy from a different set and is trying to put that in your Matchbox layout.
Saw our first one during holiday travels… had my kid take photos (I was driving) because, despite expecting the worst, we still couldn’t believe how fugly it was in real life
Saw THREE in the span of four days on a trip in CA. We ended taking pictures of all of them- because they all already had rust in the rims 💀💀 I guarantee if anyone is taking pictures it's usually to dunk on them

That’s not a compliment.

The proportions are wrong, the shape is wrong, it's just wrongness from stem to stern.
