Take a look at r/fednews on Reddit and you’ll see hundreds of previously well-intentioned public servants who are now fired up and fighting back. It can be an empowering read if you’re feeling despondent.
Well intentioned civil servants who could really use Vox Machina’s help to #savedemocracy right about now. Don’t suppose there’s a planesrider available to get them here?
A macro version of seeing someone hit a cyclist at an intersection—it is always us. You and I must stop our day, bend to help them up, it’s the guy walking to his truck who needs to get the license plate number of the entitled motherfucker who wanted to go fast and didn’t care what broke.
Don’t want to surprise you but state government kind of works the same way. Thankfully, CA still believes in democracy, but we’re going to be hurting without our federal help.
Curious to see what the landscape will be like come mid terms... If people will wake up and see the damage being done or dig into their sides and stay blind.
I mean, I feel like the fear of chaos used to hold some ground too. These cats are either so dumb and smug they don’t know what lurks in the dark, or they work for someone who does know.
Civil servants are being fucked in the ass without benefit of lube. Non-partisan, mid to low income, hardworking people, without whom the country will fall apart and jobs handed over to higher paid, private sector people who will have access to private and sensitive information about all of us. ☹️

We are all witnessing, in real time, how wrong that assumption was.
If we kept the political appointees out of their way they could run the place and we'd all be happier.
