Interesting question. Clerics have temples, Druids have circles, wizards, bards and sorcerers have colleges, artificers have apprentesships and rogues have traumas,er, guilds.
Would adventuringschool cover fighters and barbarians?
I assume it’s school to get characters from NPC level to level 1, so I picture it as a semester of general education focusing on the 6 major stats, then students can learn the basic abilities of their classes after they learn both what they’re good at and what they like doing.
If the DM is generous, players might get a feat at level 1 to act as an elective course, like learning how to cook or better perception when dungeon delving.
Also: is it adventuring school like survival school (some bearded white guy in a shack on the edge of the wilderness), or like the Harvard of adventuring colleges?
The latter: “Economic consequences of dragon killing: an historical perspective” with a syllabus covering local currency fluctuation, speculation, boom/bust cycles… everyone in class is the child of a sovereign — and those hopeful to become viziers.
