Now now, the second picture has nothing to perceive it, don't sell yourself short. If perception is reality, then reality must be perceived. Just think of all the fun to be had.
So dark here I thought I could touch it.
Use to sit in a field and watch the stars rise.
I was quite old before I realized that darn it I had to share the Milky Way with evvvveryone!
It’s just an inconvenient fact. You may not like it and cause you to lash out with an ad hominem attack, but the Earth existed billions of years before humans. Just a fact that it has never needed us.
The implicit argument is fallacious: the mere fact that the Earth is tiny in comparison to a galaxy proves nothing about the spiritual or metaphysical importance of Earth in the Cosmos. One might as well say that Y. pestis or a coronavirus is of no importance because it's tiny in comparison to Earth
Yes but who would be looking? Who would be drawing the pictures? Who would be thinking about the universe? You say the universe does not care. We are the universe as much as any star is. We are the universe pondering itself.
perception is always relevant to circumstances. Eventually, what matters beyond your expectation of .....Anything? THAT relies on Naivete-Who can tell a child about oceans is never believed. The Humar God gave us. Unless--well, it's only a few years!
I'm wondering: If one could somehow refine the absolute sum total of human racket down to a single, unmodulated, somehow intelligible (for lack of a better word)"tone" ... what would that sound like?
For me, it sounds like the tinnitus leftover from a My Bloody Valentine show.

Exactly. You imagined nothing. That was the correct answer!
earth is the only known place with conscious observers.
one could philosophically derive the universe doesn't exist without earth.
:)
Schrödinger's cat was in the box, but we didn't know in what state.
it could be anything until someone cares to look at it
I don't understand all the negative comments. Maybe it's too much for some people to comprehend.
I think it's still there 🤔

So I'm biased.
