Book is read by Joe Mantegna from Criminal minds, Godfather 3, and plays Fat Tony on the Simpsons. So they got a good narrator, but you're right about the content. Yeesh.

I recommend Dominic nobles lost in adaptation review. It's pretty funny. That movie producer was a piece of crap and there's a deleted scene hinting at his proclivities in the movie. Overall though the book is fantastic and the movie did a great adaptation.l while cutting out unnecessary parts
