Alright, here is a timelapse of the most remarkably beautiful and electric storm I have ever chased, almost exactly one year ago tonight in central Oklahoma. This is why I chase.

Had something like this over the gulf in Texas. At 3 or 4 in the morning was very clearly seen...even almost all the way into Houston. It went on til about 7am. Someone had said, Thor was coming ..or a Destroyer 🤣😆
Ada, huh. What a pisstown to throw one of Nature's great spectacles over. Apparently lucky you didn't have to drive through town (or one of many others in S.E. Ok and get ticketed for "whatever"
(Will check out your YT, thanks for sharing!)
I actually have a heavy interest in tornadoes (and by extension, supercells and storms) and recently my hyperfixation (thanks adhd) hit on them again and I've devoured all kinds of storm chasing and documentaries - nature sure is wonderful. Keep doing what you do, and keeping communities safe.
There's a starship-Enterprise sort of shape in this, and it almost looks like the clouds and the lightning are spinning out of it as it hovers above the ground.
Oklahoma has the best lightning. I lived in OKC for a while; from my apartment I could see 3 (I guess they were) radio towers in a row and saw lightning strike all 3 at once. It was spectacular.

How does it change anything for the better? 🤔
Where in Central OK did you see it? I forget how vast the sky is out West. Hmmm. I miss it.
