Trump has probably never set foot in any branch of the Smithsonian. I also doubt he's ever read a history book. People are complex, so history is complex. There's good and bad, and we're supposed to learn to recognize and avoid repeating the mistakes. Cleaned up history is simply propaganda.

Yes, so as I read the EO, it is kind of toothless. It orders JD Vance to use his role on the Board to try to do this stuff, and orders OMB to work with Congress on it. Which...is ok? The VP is just one member of the board. (But also, can the president ORDER the VP to do anything? I don't think so.)
