I guess I feel frustrated because it seems like somehow other channels manage to not consistently take multiple months every time they have a bigger project, but I am most likely being too harsh on myself. very likely just insecurity that the quality is not matching up to the lack of quantity lol
I do small-scale editing for friends' projects. I know how easy it is to get into the weeds. You are already putting creation into the world. You owe no one anything but your effort, and we thank you for it.
You'll easily drive yourself insane comparing your work to other peoples. I do that all the time and it doesn't help me make better stuff, it just makes me feel demoralized like nothing will ever be good enough. Gotta remember that you have worthwhile things to say and no one has the same journey.
Luke warm take.. I kind of think it's good to take the time it takes to do something? Rushing work rarely makes it better and the pressure to create to a deadline is soul crushing? I wish everyone didn't have to do everything as quickly as possible 😪

Make sure to hydrate and get up and walk around before getting back in the edit dungeon.
the amount of scripting, recording, and sourcing media alone sounds exhausting on top of edits
