People who don’t DNF books probably stay in bad relationships too.
“My partner will change one day.”
Maybe it will pick up at 50%.
“My partner is so attractive though.”
It has a pretty cover!
“We’ve been together for years.”
I’m at 60%!
“They are so charismatic.”
It has a 5 ⭐️ rating!

But maybe you actually don’t know what DNF means 😂
Some people continue to read books that they aren’t enjoying.
In all seriousness though, I'd never DNF'ed a book until my divorce. Now I DNF without a second thought. So there may be some actual truth to this 😅
I’ve also been called selfish for breaking up with exes.
Sometimes people just like the idea of something more than what it actually is.
As a reader, it has to be really horrible for me to not care to know the ending. 🤷♀️
I do not support this, but I’ve heard people say this.
“My partner makes a lot of money.“
Wait, couldn’t you just lie? Storygraph and the internet don’t know. 😂
Like I forget people follow me on here.
