Dallas Black Dance Theatre fired all of its dancers just days before the season was set to start because they attempted to unionize. On Sunday, the theater reached a $560k settlement with 10 retired dancers — and it agreed to write personal apologies to each one.

I’m sure there’re other talented people who could own & operate a theatre properly. Just saying…need new blood w/ethics/humanity🌸
So glad being part of a union 1s protected here in Australia.
Power to the People.
I tried adding you up as a friend but it isn't going through please try sending me a friend request from your end.
All I can think of is that they were terrified of unionization because they knew they were exploiting the hell out of the dancers and unionization would reveal all their crimes by putting an end to them.
Congratulations on the settlement
It's easy to lose sight of that because there are a lot of existing unions that do more to benefit themselves & management than the people actually doing the work.
This company is a charity. Their finances are very transparent. You can look them up.

The Racist Asshole State!
