I'm a bit concerned procedurally. Bove doesn't have an office in New York. The grievance committee jurisdiction is over attorneys who have an office in New York. Complaint maybe should have been with DC bar where Bove has office.

Hmm perhaps but he updated his registration to reflect his office at Justice Dept. If he doesnt currently work at the new York office the committee may find they dont have jurisdiction.

I don’t see this as a major impediment though as the lawyers on the paperwork considered it. He’s still a member of a NYC law firm. They can refer it to the DC bar, so it will only delay the inevitable.
