Imagine how much it's going to cost taxpayers to fix the damage they've done -- and that's after all the "savings" from firing workers and cancelling programs go to the pockets of billionaires.
This is also why it's so improbable that DOGE is finding huge amounts of fraud, waste and abuse. It's just very doubtful that the government got THAT bad in just a quarter-century.
Common sense tells you if you're going to downsize, you want to keep the brightest & best. You consult dept heads, look at performance reports. You don't randomly slash & burn.
So - when one side still believes in democracy and the other side doesn't, what are we supposed to do? They keep behaving irrationally and we're expected to counter that with rational behavior? How does that math make sense?

A couple years ago we had a wet winter and spring, so we had bananas in San Antonio.
