Ah, Boxing Day 2018, staying with friends in the middle of nowhere. I ate the veneer from my front tooth for breakfast, while eating some rather delicious home made granary toast. I thought it was crunchy.
An amusing thread of people complaining to Quality Street how bad the chocs are, and being fed corporate gaslighting in response. How to ruin a Christmas tradition….
Sad for the crown, but hopefully that stopped you eating any more of them, because they are lamentably awful now. Cheap Street would be a more appropriate name.
I did for mine a few days before Christmas (on a bacon barm of all things), luckily my dentist managed to fit in a repair appointment for me on Christmas Eve!
Marina Hyde & Richard Osman recently had a quite heated debate about the merits, or otherwise, of the toffee penny. I think this adds weight to Richard’s contention that a non-chocolate sweet has no place in a tin of chocolates.
Found Wasabi chickpeas in my stocking, husband clearly forgot the last time I ate some I broke a tooth and needed a crown. Not risking that again. Hope you get sorted!

Sorry.
And - sorry. I hope it doesn’t hurt?
(Hope it's not too uncomfortable and your dentist is available tomorrow!)
